![]() As we started collecting beers, we found that really any style could be considered a winter brew. Side such as ambers, browns, stouts and porters. So you might be asking: what exactly defines a winter brew and how did we compile this list? In the winter months we personally tend to lean towards more malty, medium to heavy body brews. we wanted to make sure we could actually taste everything we were trying and not get wasted and cram too much into a school night! So, this turned a 1-2 night project into a week long project! I mean really. This lead us into buying and trying pretty much whatever we found that was deemed a "winter" brew. and if we wanted to do this right, we should try as many as we can. A trip to a few of our favorite package stores made us realize that there's a lot of actual "winter" brews. At first we figured we'd just list our favorite beers we like to drink during the winter months. Of our favorite winter beers! Hopefully this post will help you stock up before the snow flies!įirst things first: we definitely opened a can of worms with this project. ![]() ![]() I'm definitely ready for some snow already!! There's a possibility that the next few days could bring us some winter worthy weather, so we're excited! No matter, it certainly hasn't stopped us from enjoying some and only one bout of snow, but that was back in November. Here in Connecticut, we're all sort of still waiting for winter to arrive.
